He chose not to move at all. But the Hado spell was charging his way, and there was really little he could do about it. He could bend his body to avoid it, but.. not in front of Tatsui. He had to rely on his humanity.

Holding Umbra in front of him, he focused his reiatsu to suspend her in midair, followed by a light tap to get her spinning like a fan in front of him. She got faster with each rotation..

Hado #58, Tenran!

A funnel of air came from Umbra, in the direction of Tatsui's Sokatsui. Hopefully the current would reduce the spell to little or no damage, but he'd never tried this before.

The Tenran collided with Sōkatsui; The lower leveled Kido would be pushed back and instead, the large tornado blast came towards her, a bit weak but with some power. Quickly, she jumped out of the way, landing on one knee.

"Tatsui...

Her Zan's voice said her name softer than he would normally speak. For some reason, she felt it; Kaza wasn't feeling too hot... Tatsui, still being so new to Kido, it would drain Kaza quickly if she had used small leveled spells and then Sōkatsui after it. She was too reckless.

"Do your best and stop worrying, bian."

Stubborn fool...Tatsui stood in disappointment.

"Is that good enough for you?"

Her voice echoed across the field, the strains at his legs not moving yet.

He made two slashes with his Zanpakutou to cut away the vines, his legs still unmoving, using dark energy for the steel. He held her at his side afterwards, giving Tatsui a warm, but still stern, look.

"You have work to do. Great as you are now, good potential."

He sheathed Umbra, and she gave a metally -click- as she was put away.

"Meet me back here as a 6th rank. We'll work on your Shikai, and other things.."
