Outside, she was outside. Surrounded by land, and earth, which in a way was of her own kin, and now she would do ask a favor of it, as kin would often do t each other. She collapsed, and as she hit the ground, the earth absorbed her, swallowed her, bringing it down under it's layers so she could search. Searching for one person.

Mayumi. Where was Mayumi?

She felt for vibrations, using the whole Earth an extension of her body, searching, searching. She wasn't there, she couldn't smell her, feel her... She was not here, not anywhere on Escellsia. She was gone, but how? It didn't matter. She was gone.

Now Ayaka had lost everything. Her love, her brother, her sensei, everything. All she had was Mayumi, but Mayumi was gone. Gone. Everything was gone. She felt the tears flowing down her face as she resurfaced over the land, curling up into a ball, bawling like Ayaka never had. She had never cried since the say she'd left home, but now everything was gone...

It was like she was slipping away.
