Kumi politely requests to rank

This website is now officially closed. All topics must be finished, and all character must register on the New Website All ranking exams will be finished and ranked by a seperate proctor, and all money will be reset to $200 for everyone in order to make way for the new currency system, coming soon.

We've been getting a good amount of questions regarding the move and the time skip that the move will created for all characters. So here are a few general questions, along with their answers, and of course feel free to post any more concerns you have here.

Q: What abilities or weapons will we be able to add or expand on?
A: Not a whole lot, honestly. I'd say a few improvements on what you already have, but not by a lot, as well as maybe one or two new techniques. Let's not do a major overhaul, because that would then disrupt your rank, which will not change in the move. As for weapons, …

Bits of ice would merge around him, forming several spinning shields around him, deflecting the wind slices. He sent one of these ice-blade-things towards Kumi, and it began to spin and dance around her, but didn't actually hit her. Not yet anyway.

Kumi would duck as the ice blade came near her,not knowing it wouldnt have hit her. She squat on the ground, and formed a semi-solid ball of ice, jumped up in the air, threw the ball at him while flipping over the ice blade (assuming it boomerang-ed), before gracefully landing back on her feet. When she landed, one foot was behind the other, leaning forward over her front foot a bit. As Skye was distracted by the ball heading towards him, water would begin to seep from the ground. She readied herself, in case that ice blade came back; wind howling around her.

The ice ball was shattered by the speeding wind crystals around him, and he gave a smirk as its pieces added itself to this moving shield.

"Changed my mind... Your goal is to just try and hit me now."

Kumi would pose cutely~, cocking her head with a soft smile for Skye. At that instant, large spike of water, encased in ice, would rise from the ground directly under Skye. That should catch him off guard...

The smirk was off of his face the instant he felt movement under his feet, leaping back in time to not get hit that badly. It hit his feet as he leapt though, and he landed several feet away with a scowl.

"Tch.."

He'd never admit that he was careless; he was, and it was the first time since his own ranking exam years ago that got him such a low rank in the first place. To think that someone like this girl would catch him in such a situation...

"4th rank.. and I'll be expecting a follow-up."

The room shifted back to the way it was when Skye had entered, a normal sparring room in the Academy. Skye was gone without a trace.

Kumi would bow in gratitude, even though Skye had already vanished.

Shed accept his offer of a rematch...but she wanted to get some training in first. She sat down on the floor of the room for a while to re-energize before heading out to train.
