Legendary Roam... (open-ish)

Raikou unleashes another mighty roar as the sky darkens, unleashing another Thunder that comes straight down from the sky. It tore through a few of the comets (the ones that would have hit anyway) and charged Raikou with power. However, due to the Aura of the Cobalt Crag the Thunder spread everywhere on the ground, from Sadi to the ailing Delibird, and if it was high enough, Altaria as well.

My eyes glow as I use Hangetsu no Goudou. My body summons up the memory of past species that I've been and allows me to use one of the techniques learned then. Of course, the only thing I could use in this situation is Protect from when I copied my Misdreavus. Unfortunately, Blu was too far and I could not help her. "Blu! Endure it and hit it with whatever you got!" Electricity is not super effective against her but with an attack like this, it could be dangerous. The Altaria tenses up as she takes the lightning and rushes through it angrily. Everytime she gets struck, her determination to defeat the Raikou increases (Rage).

The Tunder finally wore off, and Raikou stood firm in its place. It had only done so little so far, it was hardly even winded. It took a stance, bracing itself for Altaria's blow, and finally leapt up and clashed with the mighty bird in a flurry of feathers, fangs and electricity.

As Raikou leaps at her, she unleashes a blast of her breath (Dragonbreath). Meanwhile, I take this chance to toss a pokeball at Raikou while it's distracted.

Raikou meets the Dragonbreath with a blast of Thunderbolt from its mouth, neutralizing damage both ways. However, the pokeball meets its torso, and it gets pulled in, landing on the ground. It stays there for roughly 3 seconds, before breaking out and sizzling with shockwaves. The pokeball is in pieces at this point. Raikou lunges straight for Sadira at this point, aiming another Crunch...

"Oh crap!" I pull out my spear and jump up above it. As it passes below me, I jam the spear down in an attempt to catch it's head between the blades. Blu takes this chance to go heal once more and watches from the sidelines.

Raikou would be caught off guard, but upon landing it would bolt as fast as it could just before getting pinned by Sadi's weapon. By now its eyes were glowing yellow; it had actually been Charging itself the entire time. But that was partly due to the nature of the Crag's Aura. Raikou let out another roar as it unleashed Thunder once again on the entirety of the battlefield, this one even stronger than the first.

I grit my teeth, knowing that this isn't good so I do the only thing I can think of. I use Hangetsu no Goudou to turn into Raikou...with a few minor changes in color of course. What better pokemon to take an attack than the pokemon itself. I quickly tunnel underground in a chance to take as little damage as possible though.

Now Raikou was a tad confused... it had never encountered another of its species in many years, and seeing an alteration in its color was something it simply couldn't wrap its poke-mind around. So he crouched, watching from a distance at what this Sadi-Raikou could, and would, do.

Underground, I occasionally move closer to the surface so I can hear and smell the Raikou's location. Eventually, I can tell his location and grin as much as a Raikou can grin. 'Gotcha~.' I tunnel faster until I'm right under Raikou and pop up. As soon as I break through the ground, I send out a wave of stars (Swift) to catch the pokemon off guard.

"RAAH"

The Raikou is completely taken by surprise, since Raikous typically can't use underground moves of any sort, and it hit dead-on by the swift attack. falling on its side, it quickly rolls over so that it faces the other Raikou standing on its feet again, starting to breathe hard. Suddenly it plants its feet firmly, pulsing a large amount of electricity straight towards Sadira in a Discharge attack. This consisted of all the extra electricity it'd been charging up from the Crag all this time, and would even hurt another Raikou pretty badly..

I hold my ground as the attack flies towards me before using a Quick Attack to get out of the way. I quickly dump out my bag (since I couldn't exactly reach into it) and pick up a pokeball with my mouth to throw at Raikou.

The ball rolls and touches Raikou's front paw, confining it to the pokeball again. This time it lasts 5 whole seconds in there, and by the time it breaks free it's obviously lost a lot of energy. With as much as it could muster, Raikou combines Quick Attack, Thunder and Crunch to charge at Sadira, blast the area with electricity one more time, and aim for a crunch at her neck.

I close my eyes and brace myself for the attack, using Protect to at least lessen the blow should the barrier not be strong enough to block the attacks. Blu, tired of sitting back and watching the fight, uses Agility to quickly fly in and uses a combination of Mirror Move to steal Thunder and Dragon Rush. The dragon becomes surrounded by blue light and electricity as she attempts to tackle Raikou.

Raikou takes the tackle of Altaria, again a tussle of feathers and claws. Raikou contantly attempts to Crunch her, while beginning to spark with electricity on its body to throw it off. This time it remains wary of any oncoming pokeballs, leaving its tail open to deflect those that may come its way.

Blu Pecks Raikou repeatedly, occasionally taking a Crunch as the 2 fight. I open my eyes, surprised that I wasn't hit and growl lowly. I pick up a pokeball in my mouth once more and charge towards Blu and Raikou. My eyes begin to glow shortly before I shoot a rainbow-colored beam from eyes (Extrasensory) at the Raikou.

Taking a few (not very effective) pecks, Raikou clenches itself as Extrasensory takes hold. Oh how it hated those psychic moves that mess with you; it was in dire internal pain from it by now. There was no fleeing now, Raikou was certain that it had lost...

Blu takes this chance to clutch onto it with her talons. I walk over slowly to the Raikou, keeping my guard up as I toss the ball at it, hoping this one works.

The ball twitched on the ground, as the Raikou kept struggling to get out. 2 seconds passed, and the movements became more exaggerated and frantic. 4 seconds... The ball was beginning to slow down...

*DING*

The ball ceased movement and glowed a dim yellow color on the button. Raikou had been captured.

"YATTA~!!!" I roar out, jumping up and down happily which is weird for such a fierce looking creature like a Raikou to do. I quickly shift back into my partial wolf state and pick up the ball. Blu flies over to my bag and begins putting things up as I walk over. I pick up her pokeball and hold it out. "Good job Blu. You did well. Return." The red light captures her as she hums happily. I put everything in my bag before letting the Raikou out. It was in pretty bad shape so I did what I could, using some of the chakra I had left to heal it. "From here on out. You're part of the team~." It growls angrily at me, it's pride damaged. I laugh quietly and start walking away. "I don't really think you're the type suited for pokeballs so I let you stay out. Attack me though and we're gonna have some problems." It continues to growl, but follows me nonetheless as we leave the area.

"And where do you think you're going?"

Skye appeared in front of Sadir as she exited out of nowhere, seemingly, yet he'd actually been there most of the battle. It was quite fascinating, so he couldn't really interrupt earlier.

I nearly jump outta my skin as Skye appears. "OH GEEZ! Dude! Not cool!" I hold a hand over my heart as it slows down. "I was actually about to go find you believe it or not."

"Is that so?"

He walked beside her now at a slower pace, eying the Raikou at her side.

"I couldn't help but overhear what you said to this magnificent beast, but.. I think there may have been a misunderstanding with the Decree.."

I stop suddenly, my hands clenched at my sides. "I swear...If you say I have to give it up to you, I cannot be held accountable for what I may do." I give Skye a sharp look, "I kid you not."

"Ah, very well then."

He reached into his jacket and pulled out a small bag of coins.

"Luckily I was prepared for this. You get half the compensation for clearing the Crag of Raikou. The other half of course.. well you know."

He tossed her the bag, which still had the initials of SKV (Sunlit Kingdom Vault) embroidered onto it. The bag was pretty decent, holding $7,500 in coins.

"Enjoy your new pet then, I suppose. Toodles."

And with that, Skye vanished once more.
