Mirg's Ranking

((Ok, I can see where your going with this....and I can see what your saying....I'll edit))

>As the man emmited the shockwaves, I would know of them as they past my Distorting Shadows which were all around the man, and which would revert back to normal shadows as the shockwaves passed so that they would remain intact and unharmed. As for me and Shadow Slice, we would be be enveloped in shadow, as both of us were already covered in the energy. Thus, we would both vanish through the shadows as the shockwaves just came over us a moment or two later, barely missing the attempt to hit us with the large amount of force.

In the next moment, as the shockwaves passed on, I would appear in the pit that the Distorted Shadows came out of before. All the shadows that lay dorment then around the area would sudden resume to be Distorted Shadows, as they shot towards the man again, trying to hit him at blurring speeds, and since they were already so close to him, would have a few moments before being hit. As this took place, Shadow Slice would appear in my hand, as I waited in the pit, panting slightly. It took alot of energy to transport myself and Shadow Slice in the nick of time, not to mention the energy that it took to redo the shadow attack. I was starting to feel the strain of using the Crudus all the time, as even a more basic ability of the Shrew, combining Studys wasn't easy. Still wrapped in my Shadow energy, I would peek out of the pit, not wanting to alert the man to where I was with mental or spiritual tracking, which would only take more power anyways, so I would just watch to see what happened with the Distorting Shadows that I had managed to still form again<

The old man stopped moving, thrusting his staff n the ground to neutralize all energy in the room. The exam was over.

"Rank 6. Barely."

He would sit on the ground now, half-meditating, half waiting for Mirg to ask advice, or to make his way out, either one.

((I don't mean anything personal by this, first off. I'm not sure that you understand what it means to be a low-ranked character, with limited abilities and powers and all that. Even in the edited post, I feel like Mirg was acting way beyond what a 7th rank should be able to do, and I think you need a little more time at the bottom of the food chain to understand what your limitations are, and how to respect the ranks. I'll be reviewing your tech list shortly, and I'm also working on a guide to better understand the ranks.))
